| The Riley Jenson, Guardian Series I`ve been obsessed with this series of books, The basic plot of the stories basically this. The guardians work for the Directorate, a self guvorning Police force that defends the human race from the non humans I.E. Vampires, Warecreatures, Shapeshifters etc. Riley Jensen is a wolf/vamp cross along with her twin brother Rhoan. Rhoan is a guardian, but Riley isn`t, and doesn`t want to be. She works as a P.A. to the guy that sorts out the every day running of the Directorate and learns her trade via this job. She is more Wolf than Vamp and once a month as the full moon begins to approach, Warewolves get the hot lusties for sex and this is described in reasonably graphic detail, but nothing to offensive. The shady characters that seem to continueally pass through her life, and the plots she seems to end up in make this very imaginative set of books an absolute must read. The first of the series is FULL MOON RISING and will draw you in. You will not want to put the book down. Top price is £7.99 but if you look on Amazon I got the 2nd book for 1p and £2.75 postage. |
