I think WOG was a perfect album from Tristania. After WOG Tristania's music seemed to be changing direction, from gothic metal to gothic rock. Now Mary has joined they have dropped the gothic aspect of the music.

Back, to Morten after he left there was one amazing album, but, now that both he and Vibeke have left Tristania is in ruins, at the being of it's genre. Also, after Morten left the lyrics became rather bland.

I'm not making any sense am I? Razz

Yes you are. Tristania lost what made them Tristania after Morten left. The lyrics suck and the music has become dull and boring.

why morten left the band? sirenia looks to me less goth than tristania after his departure...
