5/5, this is the best album i have heard so far, everything works so freaking great, Simone has imroved lot from the older albums, Mark keeps doing great growls, there are more riffs, there is just more of everything. Its really extreme album, needs more than two times to listen to understand the whole album. I love it!

At certain points it sounds like an epic pantomine and other it's just metal. I love everything about it Smile

To be honest, i heard this album before it was released (back on 2007), and i have never gotten bored to it! I still love it, it took time to get into it (it's complicated music you see, it takes it's time), on the first listens i didnt see lot on it, but now i understand it all, it's masterpiece, hands down

I really love TDC,but it`s not my favorite Epica album,I preffer The Phantom Agony more,but that doesn`t make this one worse or something.Just as Ena said everyone has its own opinion Wink

Epic.

To me , it sounds heavier than their first two releases, and even sort of death metal-ish at times,with all of the growls and riffs. I hope the new album continues this. Very Happy
